These headers feature a unique free-flowing design that works to optimize your vehicle’s exhaust gas velocity. This allows your engine to “breathe” more freely, giving you gains in power and torque you can actually feel. These headers are also designed to transform your vehicle’s exhaust sound into a raspy, intense roar. These long tube headers will delete your factory catalytic converters and are meant for use with BBK’s catted mid-pipes. This enables you to get the most optimal performance and fit possible and even allows you to reuse your stock cat-back exhaust. These long tube headers utilize 16-gauge 1.75-inch wide tubular steel in their construction, providing exceptional strength. Additionally, these tubes are CNC mandrel-bent and welded, resulting in turbulence-free components. Their flanges are similarly machine-formed from 0.375-inch thick steel for a precise fit with your engine. Finally, these headers are finished in a wear-resistant silver ceramic coating that also provides excellent heat insulation, keeping engine bay temperatures down. These headers provide their characteristic performance courtesy of their free-flowing design and do not require an ECU re-tune. However, re-tuning your Charger’s ECU in the future is always a good idea as this will completely sync the performance of your vehicle to your new headers. These long tube headers are not CARB-approved at this time and as such are not for use in California and other states that have adopted CARB certification.
