2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma Dual Battery Kit - Gen 3

The Genesis Offroad Gen 3 Dual Battery System features a smart battery combiner that automatically connects and disconnects batteries, prioritizing charging the cranking battery before linking both for parallel charging. When voltage drops below approximately 12.7V for one minute, the system separates the batteries to protect the cranking battery from drainage by accessories running from the auxiliary battery. The heavy-duty Smart Battery Combiner is rated for 300 amps continuous, 500 amps for 5 minutes, and up to 2,000 amps for 5 seconds. It requires two Group 34 batteries (Group 34R is not compatible).

The kit includes positive and negative bus bars equipped with three stud sizes (3/8", 5/16", 1/4") for heavy-gauge cables (suitable for winches, air compressors, or fuse boxes) and three #10 screws for connecting smaller accessories like LED lights. The battery cables are made from 2-gauge heavy-duty, high-strand count, pure copper welding cable, known for its flexibility, conductivity, and abrasion resistance. The lugs are tin-plated pure copper for enhanced conductivity and corrosion resistance, sealed with thick, adhesive-lined heat shrink.
