The Firepunk 68RFE to 48RE FMVB Swap Kit is designed for 2007.5-2018 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks equipped with the 6.7L Cummins diesel engine and originally featuring a 68RFE automatic transmission. This kit converts the transmission to a 48RE with a full manual valve body, offering enhanced performance for high-horsepower applications (800-1000+ HP). Key components include the Firepunk Engineering Porcupine 68RFE Conversion Box, transmission adapter plate, auto transmission mount, 48RE dipstick and tube, custom shift cable bracket, static TV lever, transmission lines and adapters, nuts and bolts, and an 8-pin repair harness. Note that the factory exhaust brake will not function with this kit.
