The Rockford Fosgate M2-200X2 is a 200-watt, full-range Class-D amplifier engineered for demanding environments, particularly marine applications. Its Element Ready™ design offers robust protection against dust, UV, temperature extremes, water, corrosion, and vibration. The amplifier features a conformal-coated circuit board and a UV-stable powder-coated cast aluminum heatsink, ensuring durability and reliable operation. This amplifier delivers 50 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms, 100 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms, or 200 watts RMS x 1 when bridged to 4 ohms. Its Class D topology ensures high efficiency, minimizing the load on the vehicle's electrical system. Key technologies include C.L.E.A.N. circuitry for precise gain adjustment with visible clip indicators, a P.O.W.E.R. supply that boosts output with increasing voltage, and Balanced Differential Inputs to reject noise picked up by signal cables. Installation is made easier with features like "Auto-Sense" turn-on, which activates the amp when it detects a high-level audio signal, and an Auto-Sense bypass switch for vehicles with Retained Accessory Power (RAP). The amplifier includes integrated power and speaker terminals, RCA pass-thru outputs, and fully adjustable 12 dB/octave Butterworth high and low pass crossovers. It is CEA-2006 and CE compliant, backed by a 2-year warranty.
