This BDS Suspension BDS012403-122404 4-Link Long Arm upgrade kit is designed to convert your Dodge Ram 2500 to the high-performance BDS 4-Link long arm design. The kit comes with all the necessary components to replace the factory (or aftermarket) radius arm setup with the BDS 4-link arms and mounting brackets. Adding the 4-Link system will improve handling and ride by creating more consistent caster throughout wheel travel when compared to a radius arm setup. It is also a strength upgrade by replacing the factory radius arms with 4 heavy duty tubular arms and increasing the frame mounting points from 2 to 4. The arms come with greasable bushings at the frame and mount to the factory rubber bushings at the axle. The multi-point mounting setup of the new frame bracket spreads the load over a wide section of the frame and ties into the factory mount as well as the side of the frame. Minor drilling, welding and trimming are required but still allow for the truck to be returned to the stock radius arm setup. The stainless steel 'BDS' logo on the side of the mounting brackets let's everyone know you use the best on your truck.
