This Airaid Cold Air Induction Ram Air system is designed to enhance engine performance by providing a significant boost in airflow to the engine. It utilizes a dry filter technology for optimal filtration and high air volume. The system features a black finish for a sleek appearance. By increasing the amount of cold air entering the engine, it improves combustion efficiency, leading to increased horsepower and torque. The Cold Air Dam panels act as a heat shield to protect intake air from engine bay heat. The intake system retains the original air filter location but adds a large open-element air inlet protected by Cold Air Dam panels that provide a steady, free-flowing supply of cooler outside air. These panels mount in the factory air box location and utilize any factory cold air inlet ducts while adding additional cold air passages. They also keep the filter isolated from the hot engine compartment air by sealing to the underside of the hood. The system connects to the factory air intake tube. The Airaid premium air filter is washable, reusable, less restrictive than traditional paper, and assures superior filtration. Installation is straightforward with common hand tools.
