2017-2019 Duramax L5P 4in Stage 2 Intake Kit Sparkle Bomber Orange

The Wehrli Custom Fabrication (WCFab) Stage 2 Intake Kit with Air Box is designed for 2017-2019 GM L5P 6.6L Duramax diesel engines found in Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD trucks. This kit replaces the restrictive factory plastic intake components with a high-flow fabricated aluminum intake pipe, intake horn, and an air box enclosure with a dry filter assembly. It is engineered to improve engine performance and sound by significantly increasing airflow to the turbo, resulting in enhanced horsepower and torque, quicker throttle response, and cooler intake temperatures. The design draws cold air through the hood Ram Air duct and inner fender. The all-aluminum construction features large diameter 4" piping with smooth aerodynamic bends. The intake horn is over an inch larger than the OEM diameter. WCFab claims a 25HP gain when used with a Max Effort Tune. The kit includes high-quality hardware, silicone boot, seals, and stainless steel t-bolt clamps for durability and ease of installation. A removable air box lid allows for easy inspection and maintenance of the WCFab filter, which includes a hydrophobic pre-filter cover to protect the MAF sensor, turbo, and engine airways. The ram air duct seal is repositioned to the bottom of the hood for a cleaner engine compartment aesthetic. The assembly is available in various custom powder coat colors. No tuning is required, and it is a direct bolt-on installation, compatible with a stock truck without further modifications. It is not compatible with the WCFab Intake Resonator Pipe WCF100709.
