It addresses the factory intercooler's susceptibility to heat-soak, which can lead to detonation and power loss, especially during spirited driving or with increased power outputs. This intercooler features a dense 26.5" x 3.5" x 7.25" bar-and-plate core, rated for over 550 horsepower. It increases surface area by 85% and internal flow by 83% for optimal cooling and airflow. The billet machined aluminum end tanks are designed for maximum efficiency and a smooth flow. The intercooler utilizes factory mounting points and air ducts/shrouds, requiring no cutting, fitting, or trimming for installation. It is 50-state legal and CARB approved (EO D-878).
