This mounting kit includes totally removable #3100 SuperRails & Posts, Mounting Brackets, and Hardware. It is crucial to understand that a towing system's overall weight rating is determined by the lowest-rated component. For example, if this mounting kit is rated for 18,000 lbs and a hitch is rated for 24,000 lbs, the system's maximum towing capacity will not exceed 18,000 lbs. It is the end user's responsibility to ensure all components of their towing system (truck, trailer, hitch, and mounting kit) have sufficient capacity for the loads involved.
