Description

The MOOG ES801589 is an outer steering tie rod end designed to restore like-new steering and handling. It features a Problem Solver Gusher Bearing with a metal-to-metal design that allows grease to flow through for reduced friction and extended life. The ball studs are heat-treated to meet or exceed OE requirements, enhancing fatigue strength and preventing premature failure.

The tie rod end includes a greaseable socket to reduce corrosion and wear by flushing contaminants. A Belleville preload washer helps maintain a tight bearing package as the bearings wear. Its patented pressed-in cover plate seals out debris, minimizes looseness, and contributes to a longer service life.
