The Mishimoto performance top-mount intercooler kit significantly upgrades the 2022+ Subaru WRX's cooling system. It replaces the stock plastic charge pipe with a mandrel-bent, CNC-machined aluminum pipe, improving airflow by 20%. The core features cast-aluminum end tanks and an 88% larger, high-flow core, reducing restriction by 40.6% and increasing flow by over 40% compared to stock. This ensures outlet temperatures remain within 10 degrees of ambient. The intercooler boasts a 76% increase in fin surface area for superior heat transfer. An expanded shroud maximizes airflow from the hood scoop, and a pre-drilled 1/8-NPT port in the cold-side tank allows for boost or temperature sensors. The kit includes all necessary installation hardware and Mishimoto's Lifetime Warranty.
