Hauling heavy loads or traveling hilly terrain can push factory brakes to their limit, decreasing performance and stopping power. The Power Stop Z36 Truck & Tow Brake Kit is designed to restore brake confidence, increasing stopping power up to 20%. These kits are recommended for trucks, 4x4s, and SUVs that work and play hard. The kit includes carbon-fiber infused ceramic brake pads for severe-duty stopping power, and drilled and slotted rotors for maximized heat dissipation, which is critical for long descents. Rotors are constructed of G3000 steel castings and are silver zinc plated for rust resistance. Brake pads feature stainless steel shims for quiet braking and a powder-coated backing plate to resist rust and corrosion. Calipers, where included, are 100% pressure tested, finished in an electrostatic high-heat powder-coat, and include new bleed screws, hardware, pins, and high-temperature EPDM rubber.
