Hypertech’s In-line Speedometer Calibrator Module is designed to correct speedometer and odometer readings for non-stock tire sizes and/or rear gear ratios. It's an in-line module, perfect for vehicles where the computer doesn’t allow for tire size and/or rear gear ratio correction or for re-calibration outside the range of programmers. Users connect the module to a PC via USB cable to enter new tire height and/or rear gear ratio. The installation involves disconnecting the factory connector to the instrument cluster, snapping in the module, and reconnecting the cluster. It can be upgraded to a Max Energy Power Programmer via the internet for an additional charge. Features include correcting speedometer and odometer for tires up to 54 inches and/or non-stock rear gear ratios, reading, displaying, and clearing diagnostic trouble codes, and internet updateability. It offers easy plug-and-go installation and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
