It features 3M's Controltac™ and Comply™ technologies, which allow for easy sliding, tacking, snapping, and repositioning of the film during application.

The 3M 2080 M21 Matte Silver Vinyl Wrap is a multi-layer, dual-layer cast film engineered for vehicle wraps, accents, and partial decorations. Its advanced features make it suitable for a wide range of applications, from cars and trucks to motorcycles, boats, and even household items like countertops and refrigerators. This wrap utilizes 3M's innovative Controltac™ and Comply™ adhesive technologies. Controltac™ provides a pressure-activated, slideable, and repositionable adhesive, while Comply™ features invisible air release channels that facilitate easy application and prevent bubbling, ensuring a smooth, professional finish. The film is 90 microns thick and boasts excellent conformability, adapting to flat surfaces, rivets, corrugations, deep recesses, and extreme convex and concave shapes. It is ready to use straight from the package, requiring no overlaminate for protection. With a lifespan of up to 8 years for vertical applications, the 3M 2080 M21 wrap not only enhances aesthetics but also offers protection against scratches, stone chips, and UV damage. It is available in rolls up to 5ft (60 inches) wide, allowing for the coverage of entire vehicle sections.
