The Rock Krawler Suspension JLU Wrangler 4.5 inch Adventure - X2 Long-Arm System is designed as a compromise between daily driving and hardcore off-roading. It features a full high clearance 4-link front suspension and a high clearance independent 3-link rear suspension. The system incorporates "Adventure series joint centers" in every control arm, which are described as maintenance-free and designed to isolate road vibrations. The joints feature a steel sleeve and Teflon lined inner sleeve to prevent chafing, twisting, or deforming of the bushing material. The X2 rear suspension geometry aims for a smooth ride both on and off-road, with enhanced rear instant center(s) and rear roll center(s). New high clearance axle mounts provide 4.5" of ground clearance under the rear axle compared to stock. Rear upper shock relocation brackets are included to maintain shock and suspension travel. The system is designed to provide excellent highway ride, improved off-road ability, and features a full high clearance design. It requires welding of the front and rear long arm mounts, removal of OEM frame and axle side control arm mounts, and modification/welding of OEM rear shock mounts.
