20"x11"x3" Intercooler Kit with Aluminum Piping

The core of this FMIC is a massive 20"x11"x3" (24"x11"x3" with end tanks) high-density bar and plate construction, boasting a total volume of 660 cubic inches. This design has been extensively tested and found to be highly efficient, capable of cooling intake air temperatures (IAT) close to ambient, even under demanding conditions like road racing. Unlike thinner cores used by competitors, the 3" thick core allows for better internal flow characteristics and doesn't excessively block airflow to the radiator, ensuring the vehicle's overall cooling system remains effective. This intercooler is capable of supporting over 600hp, making it a long-term solution for future turbo upgrades. To complement the large core, the kit features complete all-aluminum hard piping. The 2.25" charge piping (turbo to intercooler) is designed to maintain high airflow velocity, aiding response and reducing turbo lag, while the 2.5" cold piping (intercooler to throttle body) is optimized for higher top-end flow. All piping includes beaded ends, silicone hump hoses, and T-bolt clamps to prevent separation under boost pressure. This setup replaces every OEM piece, reducing pressure drop and improving overall efficiency. It retains the OEM side fog light covers and lower center grill for a factory appearance. Additionally, it includes a new, more efficient 4-row external power steering cooler, mounted above the FMIC, which helps prolong the life of the power steering pump. All necessary hardware for installation is included, and the intercooler is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
