This system draws cooler, denser air from a location near the headlights, rather than the hotter air within the engine compartment. It replaces the bottom half of the Lexus filter enclosure with a custom-designed intake. Installation of this F SPORT performance air intake results in a throatier engine sound and a modest increase in rear-wheel horsepower. The air filter assembly connects to the engine's throttle body via a polished, clear-coated aluminum tube that features a machined-aluminum F SPORT logo. This F SPORT-engineered assembly is compatible with the stock engine controls and meets California Air Resources Board requirements, making it emissions-legal in all 50 states. The part number for this air intake is PTR0353141. It is intended for dealer-installed or over-the-counter sale after the initial vehicle purchase.
