The South Bend Clutch K70284-05-HD is a Stage 2 Daily Clutch Kit engineered for high-horsepower modifications. It features a heavy-duty pressure plate with increased clamp load and minimal increase in pedal pressure. The organic disc material has a high metal content, doubling the coefficient of friction compared to stock linings and offering a rotational strength up to a 12,000 RPM burst point. This clutch system provides a stock-like feel while enhancing strength and durability. It is recommended for daily driving, street use, and moderate racing applications.
