Description

The JEGS 78078K is a 22-gallon fuel tank specifically designed to fit the 1970 Ford Mustang and 1970 Mercury Cougar. Constructed from electroplated zinc steel with a protective silver epoxy finish, this metal tank offers a durable and reliable replacement for your original equipment. This unit replaces part number F28D and includes a convenient drain plug for easier maintenance. The kit comes complete with a new JEGS lock ring and gasket (part number 555-78764). For optimal performance, JEGS recommends using their sending unit 555-78532, which features a 3/8-inch main line and no return, and is sold separately. The tank measures 33.1 x 10.8 x 25 inches.
