23.62-Inch Braided Stainless Steel E-Brake Assembly

The GKtech Hydraulic E-Brake Setup with a remote lever provides a solution for installing a hydraulic e-brake when traditional designs are incompatible due to interior layout constraints. This system relocates the master cylinder to a secondary bracket, connected via a sleeved cable approximately 23.62 inches behind the lever, significantly reducing the size of the handle-end bracket for easier fitment in various applications. The e-brake handle is crafted from CNC machined aluminum, ensuring both a lightweight and robust construction. The included braided brake lines are made in-house using stainless steel fittings and a PTFE outer, specifically designed to suit the Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ and include P-clips for secure routing. These lines have undergone independent testing and comply with FMVSS106, ADR, and DOT standards. Buyers can select between a 5/8" or 3/4" master cylinder. The 5/8" is generally recommended for a balanced lever feel with a longer throw for gauging, while the 3/4" offers a more direct, firmer feel with less throw, suitable for larger brake calipers like OEM Brembos or larger wheel/tire setups needing extra bite. Optional components are available, such as dual caliper brackets for mounting a secondary caliper, offered in GT/Brembo or GTS/BRZ specific variants. A dual caliper bracket e-brake bolt kit is also available, highly recommended for retaining the OEM e-brake functionality for parking. The handle may sit in front of the start button when positioned next to the steering wheel, but remains accessible. A start button relocation loom is available separately if desired. Everything is included for installation except for brake calipers and brake fluid.
