Description

This camshaft boasts an aggressive ramp profile with asymmetrical lobe design for slower valve closing rates, promoting smoother operation. It is designed for an operating RPM range of 2,200-6,400 RPM, offering significant gains in the power band. Key specifications include an advertised duration of 276 degrees on the intake and 284 degrees on the exhaust, with a duration at 0.050 inch lift of 233 degrees intake and 241 degrees exhaust. The gross valve lift measures .554 inches for the intake and .572 inches for the exhaust, coupled with a 110-degree Lobe Separation Angle (LSA). This camshaft is recommended for use with a 2800 RPM stall converter, a hi-rise type dual plane intake manifold, an 850 CFM carburetor, headers, and 3.73 gears. It is also compatible with up to 200 horsepower of nitrous oxide. For optimal performance and longevity, it is advised to use a suitable valve spring kit, such as the LT73124K1LUN or LT74820K4LUN.
