The U.S. Royal Bias Ply Redline is a vintage tire that combines classic style with exceptional performance. This tire is perfect for mid to late 1960s muscle cars and pony cars. The red rubber material is added directly to the tire sidewall during initial construction of the carcass, resulting in a truly integrated, high-quality product after vulcanization. Bias ply tire construction was used from the 1900's through the 1970's on passenger cars and light trucks, featuring ply cords that run at a 45 degree angle to the bead and overlap in a crisscross pattern. This creates a strong tire, but bias ply tires have a tendency to follow breaks or ruts in the pavement.
