The IM2.5 Monotube suspension series features a CNC ported billet aluminum piston with an O-Ring sealed PTFE-Teflon band for precise tuning. It includes a billet aluminum Internal Floating Piston (IFP) with NOK seals, separating high-pressure 200PSI nitrogen gas from Fuchs hydraulic oil. The shock absorber tube has a robust wall thickness of 3-4mm and is protected by ultra-thick Type 2 anodizing. It can be mounted "upside down" for protection, and features a 20mm hardened steel piston rod with a dirt shield. The aluminum construction reduces weight by 30% compared to twin-tube steel shock absorbers and offers superior cooling.
