The Alcoa 98U631DB is a premium 24.5" x 8.25" forged aluminum wheel specifically designed for the steer axle of heavy-duty trucks. Constructed from 6061 fully forged aluminum, this wheel offers exceptional strength and durability. It utilizes Alcoa's proprietary MagnaForce® alloy, contributing to its lightness and improved operational performance. The Dura-Bright® EVO surface treatment is a significant advancement, penetrating the aluminum to become an integral part of the wheel. This advanced coating ensures the wheel will not chip, crack, peel, or corrode, unlike conventional coatings. Key specifications include a 10-hole hub pilot mounting system with a 285.75mm bolt circle, a 220.1mm hub bore, and a 6.6" outset. The wheel has a maximum load capacity of 7400 lbs and is approved for tire sizes such as 315/80R22.5, 295/60R22.5, and 12R22.5. It is suitable for applications including dump trucks and other heavy haul trucks.
