The Pioneer GM-D9701 is a dedicated mono amplifier designed to power your subwoofer and deliver immersive bass performance. This Class-D amplifier provides a maximum power output of 2400W (1-Ohm stable) and an RMS power of 1200W (1-Ohm), ensuring tight, impactful, and deep low-frequency reproduction. Engineered with high-performance components, the GM-D9701 maintains a clean signal path to minimize distortion and maximize sonic fidelity. It features a variable low-pass filter (LPF) with a frequency range of 40 Hz to 240 Hz, and a bass boost function that can be optimized from 0 dB to 18 dB at 50 Hz, controllable via a wired remote for optimal bass level adjustment. The amplifier also includes an automatic signal sensing and turn-on feature, detecting input signals from RCA or speaker level inputs and automatically switching on when the receiver is powered. To ensure reliability and prevent damage, the GM-D9701 is equipped with a protection control system that senses internal temperature and moderates the signal. Pioneer's original high-capacity audio power source capacitor contributes to higher sound quality and stable power delivery, even at high output levels.
