The Schrick 248/248 Camshaft Set is engineered to enhance the performance of non-M BMW vehicles, delivering a noticeable increase in power output in the mid to upper RPM range. This set boasts symmetrical camshaft profiles with an intake and exhaust lobe duration of 248° each, and a consistent 10.0mm valve lift for both intake and exhaust valves. Specific valve lift at Top Dead Center (TDC) ranges from 0.1-4.4mm for intake and 0.6-3.6mm for exhaust, with valve timing specified as 4-64 44-24 for intake and 56-12 31-37 for exhaust. These camshafts are manufactured in Germany and are specifically intended for use in 1999-2000 BMW models, including the E46 323i/328i, E39 528i, and Z3 2.8 (M52TU engines). Proper installation may require precise degreed assembly, and it is recommended to consult with a professional or ensure correct tuning, lubrication, and oil quality to maximize performance and reliability. As per California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulations, this product is not for sale or use in California on any pollution-controlled vehicle.
