The Tuff Country 24864K 4" Lift Kit is a purpose-built suspension upgrade for 1991–1994 Ford Explorer 4WD, designed to broaden off-road capability while keeping everyday drive comfortable. This no-shocks kit delivers reliable lift with rear add-a-leafs and a straightforward installation path for enthusiasts who want better ground clearance and tire compatibility. It provides a 4" front / 3" rear lift for a balanced stance and room for larger tires (up to 31" diameter). The rear add-a-leafs increase rear ride height and payload capacity for hauling gear or navigating rough terrain, while extended radius arms enhance suspension articulation for smoother wheel travel over obstacles. EZ-Ride Front Coil Springs are engineered to maintain ride quality while supporting added height. Axle Pivot Brackets with Camber Adjustment Bolts enable precise alignment after installation for better handling and tire wear control. Shocks are not included, and extended shocks are needed to complete the installation and achieve proper ride height. A drop pitman arm is strongly recommended to preserve steering feel after the lift (sold separately).
