The Pullrite #2300 ISR Heavy Duty SuperGlide is a 24K automatically sliding fifth-wheel hitch designed for short bed trucks. It has a gross trailer weight capacity of 24,000 lbs. and a pin weight capacity of 6,000 lbs. The hitch provides 18 inches of automatic slide during turns, moving the trailer away from the truck cab to prevent contact. It features a dual articulating head for a smoother ride and easier coupling on uneven ground. The hitch head is easily removable without tools (weighs 43 lbs.). It includes a patented, fully automatic, locking jaw that secures the trailer's king pin at 140 degrees, eliminating the need for secondary locking devices. An extended handle is designed to keep the user out of the truck bed during operation. A Capture Plate, attached to the trailer's skid plate, is a required component to activate the sliding cam arm. This hitch can be used with existing industry-standard rail systems and is constructed from high-quality American steel.
