24V VR6 Oil Filter Housing w/ MOCAL 90°C Thermostat

The iABED Industries 2.8 | 3.2 | 3.6 24V VR6 Oil Filter Housing is engineered as a comprehensive solution for your vehicle's oil filtration needs. This housing is compatible with all 24V VR6 engines produced from 2002 to the present. Key features include a standard ¾-16” threaded nipple, suitable for common screw-on oil filters like the 06A 1.8T. Integrated within the housing is a MOCAL 90°C thermostat, eliminating the need for a separate thermostatic sandwich plate and offering an upgrade over previous models. The housing also provides a M12 x 1.5 port specifically for turbocharger oil feed and a 1/8” NPT port for aftermarket oil pressure or temperature senders. Additionally, it includes two M10 x 1.0 ports for OEM oil senders. The build of materials includes the CNC housing, a MOCAL thermostat, various fittings (¾-16”, M12 x 1.5, AN-10 Male ORB to Union), broached plugs, and necessary hardware like crush washers and stainless steel screws and washers. O-rings are also included for proper sealing. Important considerations for installation: this product requires the purchase of an additional air-cooled oil cooler (such as Setrab or Mocal). It can be adapted for use with the OEM heat exchanger by requesting a switch of the ¾-16” threaded fitting for an OEM unit.
