The Hardrace Front Sway Bar is a 25.4mm upgrade designed to significantly impact your vehicle's handling characteristics, specifically addressing oversteer and understeer. By connecting the lower suspension links across the front of your car, it effectively keeps the chassis level during cornering, preventing excessive leaning. This results in improved control, especially at higher speeds, and enhances grip. The sway bar is constructed with a hollow internal structure and undergoes a heat-treated process, making it suitable for OE direct replacement. Installation requires specific front lower arms with sway bar provisions on DC2 or 92-95 Civic EX/Si models; alternatively, part #6247 can be added to front LCAs. It also requires 90° ball joint type end links, such as #6480 or #6137. For vehicles not originally equipped with a sway bar, front lower arms with end link mounting holes are necessary, or part #6247 can be used. This sway bar is not compatible with EG Civic Bushing Type End Links. It is designed for the following applications: 92-95 Civic (with EX or Si front Lower Arms), 93-97 Del Sol (models with front sway bar provision only), and 94-01 Integra.
