This bellhousing kit allows for the replacement of the original German-made Getrag 5-speed transmission (used in 1989-1993 Dodge 2WD and 4WD vehicles with Cummins diesel engines) with a newer Heavy-Duty NV4500 transmission. The kit includes a 356 T-6 aluminum bellhousing, pilot bushing, transfer case shifter bracket, crossmember support, fastening hardware, and adapter instructions. It retains the use of the Getrag slave cylinder, clutch arm, and release bearing. Modifications to the NV4500 transmission's bearing retainer and the vehicle's floorboard for the shifter lever will be required.
