Overview

The CP-Carrillo DC7559H Pro-H Connecting Rods with H-11 bolts are an essential upgrade for any high-performance build of the 1989–2007 Dodge 5.9L and 2007.5-Present 6.7L Diesel engines. They are made of a proprietary alloy blend that includes chrome, nickel, molybdenum, and vanadium, all conforming to stringent VAR (Vacuum Arc Remelt) ASTM specifications. Every batch of material is thoroughly inspected and verified by both the supplier and independent metallurgists to ensure it meets exact chemical and mechanical standards. The rods undergo mar-aging heat treatment, delivering an impressive ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of 195,000 psi and a yield strength of 182,000 psi, while retaining excellent ductility and resistance to notching. Each CP-Carrillo rod is crafted from an oversized forging, which helps align the metal’s grain structure and eliminates any impurities or defects on the surface caused by the forging process. Precision CNC machining with in-process probing ensures perfect dimensional accuracy. For quality assurance, each rod is magnaflux-inspected at least twice, hardness-tested using the Rockwell scale, and finished with shot peening for improved fatigue strength. Designed for durability and peak performance, this rod set includes robust H-11 fasteners and is suitable for a variety of demanding applications.
