The Spidertrax Pro Series 300M Floater Shafts are high-performance axle shafts for demanding off-road applications like rock crawling and rock racing. Made from US grade 300M billet chromoly steel, they undergo CNC machining, post-machining heat treatment, and a deep freeze (cryogenic freeze) process to enhance molecular structure, strength, and longevity. A key design feature is that the entire shaft is turned down to a diameter smaller than the major diameter of the splines, optimizing shaft torsion and protecting splines from excessive load, thereby increasing their strength. These shafts integrate seamlessly with Spidertrax Spider 9 axle components. A 'Spider 9 Housing & Shaft Calculator' is available for determining shaft lengths.
