The Mishimoto Oil Cooler Kit provides a direct-fit solution for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7/8/9 models from 2001 to 2007. It features a robust 25-row stacked-plate oil cooler strategically mounted in the front bumper to maximize airflow and cooling efficiency. Included in the kit are application-specific mounting brackets and pre-assembled stainless steel braided oil lines equipped with -10AN fittings. These components ensure a straightforward bolt-on installation, effectively replacing the factory oil cooler. The large-capacity cooler is designed to significantly reduce oil temperatures, by up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit, and minimize oil degradation. This leads to improved lubrication for critical engine and turbocharger components, even under demanding driving conditions. The kit also comes with application-specific mounting brackets, stainless steel braided hoses with various AN fittings, an M18 x -10AN straight fitting, and a banjo fitting with an M18 x -10AN bolt.
