The Mishimoto Universal Oil Cooler Kit, in its 25-row black thermostatic configuration, is engineered to provide crucial oil temperature regulation for both stock and high-performance engines. Proper temperature management is key to extending engine life and preventing oil degradation. The core of this kit is Mishimoto's robust 25-row stacked-plate cooler, built to handle high fluid pressures and significantly lower oil temperatures while maintaining minimal pressure loss. The kit features a billet anodized aluminum sandwich plate, with an optional thermostatic version available. The thermostatic plate offers enhanced temperature control by restricting oil flow to the cooler until optimal operating temperatures are achieved, which is particularly beneficial for vehicles in cooler climates. Included in the kit are pre-assembled stainless steel braided oil lines equipped with -10AN fittings and dowty seals, ensuring durable and leak-free connections. For broader compatibility, the kit comes with both a 3/4-inch -16 and an M20-1.5 sandwich plate adapter, supporting fitment for most makes and models. The overall dimensions of the cooler core are 11" in length, 7.32" in height, and 1.97" in thickness. Installation is rated as medium difficulty.
