The Autotech 252/264 Sport Camshaft Set is a performance upgrade for 16V MK2 Volkswagen models. Manufactured from custom, chill-hardened billets, these camshafts are designed to provide higher power levels and better low-end torque and drivability compared to the benchmark Schrick 260. They offer improved idle characteristics, with claims of 8 more peak HP and up to 12 more ft-lbs of torque. Dynojet chassis dyno tests on a GTI 2.0L showed an average gain of 17.2 HP at the wheels between 5000 and 6750 rpm over stock US cams, making them a street-legal performance option. The set features intake lift of 10.16mm with 252-degree duration and exhaust lift of 10.9mm with 264-degree duration, and a 114-degree lobe center. It is CA smog exempt under C.A.R.B. Executive Order D-375-4 and comes with a lifetime warranty.

The Autotech 252/264 Sport Camshaft Set is a performance upgrade for 16V MK2 Volkswagen models equipped with 1.8L and 2.0L engines. These camshafts are ground on custom-manufactured, chill-hardened billets by Autotech. Engineered to surpass the performance of the benchmark Schrick 260 camshafts, this set delivers significantly better low-end torque and overall drivability. Users can expect great idle characteristics, with gains of up to 8 peak horsepower and 12 ft-lbs of torque compared to the Schrick 260. Dynojet chassis dyno tests on a GTI 2.0L showed an average wheel horsepower gain of 17.2 HP between 5000 and 6750 rpm over stock US cams, establishing these as the premier street-legal performance cams for your 16V. Specific dimensions include an intake lift of 10.16mm with 252 degrees of duration and an exhaust lift of 10.9mm with 264 degrees of duration, set at a 114-degree lobe center.
