The Circle D Specialties Ford 252mm Pro Series 4R70 Torque Converter represents their most durable and adjustable option, specifically crafted for high horsepower street and track cars. This converter is built to excel in applications exceeding 800 horsepower, making it an ideal match for engines utilizing turbochargers, superchargers, or nitrous oxide systems. Key construction features include a billet front cover, a multiple bolt pattern front cover for versatility, and anti-balloon plates on both the pump and turbine to enhance durability under stress. The CNC machined steel stator offers maximum adjustability, while furnace brazed and hand TIG welded fins ensure robust performance. Further enhancing its performance and longevity, this torque converter incorporates a mechanical diode one-way clutch. It is available in various configurations, including different stall speeds (from Ask CDS up to 4800-5000 RPM) and lock-up options (Single Disk Lock Up, Non Lockup, or 3 Disk Lock Up), all featuring the mechanical diode sprag. As a custom-manufactured product, please note a production lead time of 4-6 weeks.
