The Circle D Specialties GM 258mm HP Series 8L90 Factory Replacement Torque Converter offers a robust upgrade for your vehicle's drivetrain. This converter is engineered as a direct drop-in solution for the commonly failing 8L90 torque converters, addressing their inherent issues with enhanced durability and performance. Constructed with premium materials, this torque converter boasts a billet front cover and a billet apply piston for superior strength. It features a triple clutch lockup system for improved efficiency and a flanged style hub. The internal components include heat-treated steel splines and furnace brazed, hand-TIG welded fins, ensuring longevity under demanding conditions. This converter offers additional stall speed options, which require HP Tuners calibration to achieve optimal performance tailored to your specific application. Please note that this torque converter WILL NOT FIT 2019+ L84 applications or the C7 Corvette. For owners of 2019+ L84 Sierra/Silverado applications, a specific link is provided to find a compatible converter.
