The Circle D 258mm HP Series 8L90 Factory Replacement Torque Converter is engineered as a robust alternative to the failure-prone OEM units for the 8L90 transmission. Constructed with a billet front cover, triple clutch lockup, and a billet apply piston, this converter is built for enhanced durability and performance. It features heat-treated steel splines for superior strength and furnace brazed, hand TIG welded fins for optimal heat dissipation. The flanged style hub design further contributes to its robust construction. This torque converter offers additional stall speed options, allowing for customization to your specific performance needs. Please note that these advanced stall options require calibration using HP Tuners software to function correctly. The converter is designed as a direct drop-in replacement for a seamless installation process where applicable. Crucially, this torque converter WILL NOT FIT 2019+ L84 applications or the C7 Corvette. A separate link is provided for 2019+ L84 Sierra/Silverado owners seeking a compatible solution.
