Description

The Simrad Pro 25kW X-Band SRT LAN Pedestal (R5000) is a component of the Simrad R5000 series radar systems, designed for IMO type-approved X-Band or S-Band radar systems on CAT 1(H) and CAT 2(H) SOLAS vessels. This modular system allows for single or multi-radar configurations on commercial vessels of various sizes. It features X-Band radar for high-resolution coverage and optimal target separation. The system is based on the R5000 radar processor, a high-performance 'black-box' unit that connects to the radar transceiver via an easy-to-route Ethernet cable, facilitating flexible and redundant multi-radar systems.
