Other configurations include 1.5mm and 1/16\" sets with positive twist ductile iron, barrel-faced, plasma-moly inlaid top rings, and reversed twist taper-faced cast iron second rings. .043” ring sets often use a taper hook groove design. Sport compact ring sets (81-100mm) offer steel nitrided top rings, reverse twist cast iron second, and standard tension oil control rings.
