Description

The USA Standard Gear ZA G551818 is a direct-fit replacement axle shaft engineered for a range of GM vehicles. With 26 splines and a length of 28 7/16 inches, this shaft is designed to integrate seamlessly with the GM 7.5-inch rear axle. It is specifically designed for models such as the 1978-1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, 1977-1987 Chevrolet El Camino, and 1978-1983 Chevrolet Malibu. Further application includes the 1978-1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass, 1982-1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, 1982-1986 Pontiac Bonneville, and 1978-1983 Buick Regal. The axle shaft features a 5 x 4.75 inch bolt pattern and is double-drilled to accommodate both early and late stud hole sizes (.453 inch and .484 inch). Key specifications include a shaft length of 28.43 inches and a bolt pattern of 5 x 4.75 inches. It is important to note that the axle nut is not included with this part.
