A-Series Double Side Drop Down Ladder Rack for High Roof Cargo Vans is uniquely designed and engineered to gently lower and raise a ladder into position for easy loading and unloading. The Drop Down Van Rack includes heavy-duty hydraulic-assisted arms with lockable clamp arms and rollers on each ladder platform to provide safe and smooth operation for heavy ladders to slide down the side of the van. This Drop Down Roof Rack drops 15" lower than competitor models. The ladder is lowered to eliminate climbing, stretching, or reaching for heavy items which are the leading causes of on-the-job injuries. The ladder rack's rugged crossbows hover just inches above the roof to reduce overall vehicle height, making it easy to access low clearance lots. The rack system is easy to assemble, and installs using strong wide mounting feet and rails that install directly to pre-existing factory drilled holes. The heavy duty aluminum construction prevents rusting and is 22% lighter than the steel version. Note: Some drilling is required to drill out existing holes in Mercedes Sprinter.
