The Yukon Gear & Axle RAA435-2224A is a remanufactured rear axle assembly for Dodge/Ram Dakota vehicles. It features inspected and straightened tubes, crack-tested housings, and 100% inspected internal parts. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced, and housings are hydro-blasted to an OEM finish. Gear patterns are checked for optimum tooth contact, rolling torque is set, and backlash clearance is established for proper lubrication and noise reduction.
