Overview

The Precision Race Components 199-LS62.5 cylinder heads are fully CNC ported and assembled with stainless steel intake and exhaust valves. These heads feature PAC Racing Single Beehive Springs rated to .600" lift. They are cast, machined, and assembled in the USA. The 68cc chamber size and 260cc runner size are ideal for forced induction and larger cubic inch setups.

The Precision Race Components 199-LS62.5 are fully CNC-ported cylinder heads designed to optimize engine performance. These heads feature a 68cc chamber size and 260cc intake runner volume, making them an excellent choice for forced induction and larger cubic inch engine applications. They are assembled with stainless steel 2.02" intake valves and 1.57" exhaust valves, complemented by PAC Racing Single Beehive Springs capable of handling up to .600" of valve lift. Constructed with a thicker deck surface than factory GM castings, these heads offer improved strength for nitrous or boosted applications. They come standard with a 6-bolt configuration to accommodate aftermarket engine blocks like GMPP LSx and RHS, but will also bolt onto factory GM production blocks. Precision Race Components emphasizes their commitment to domestic manufacturing, with these cylinder heads being cast, machined, and assembled in the USA. The smaller runner size compared to factory LS3 heads enhances port velocity, resulting in better low-end and mid-range power and overall engine response. The use of hollow-stem stainless steel intake valves helps reduce valvetrain weight, contributing to increased longevity and RPM range.
