Description

The Scotch 051115-31800 is a fine line high-performance masking tape designed for in-mold applications. It features a green polypropylene backing with superior gelcoat chemical resistance and a rubber/silicon blend adhesive for sharp, clean color separation lines. This tape is conformable yet strong, suitable for pulling sharply through gel coatings.

The tape's silicone rubber adhesive adheres well to semi-permanent, high-slip molds and releases smoothly. It offers excellent adhesion and is resistant to most solvents and moisture. The backing minimizes stretch during unwind, ensuring consistent performance. It is recommended for specialty vehicle, marine, and other gel coating applications.
