The Circle D 38-13-06 is a 265mm Pro Series Stage III multi-disk torque converter designed for high-horsepower applications with the Ford 6R80 transmission. This converter is engineered for vehicles with significant power and weight, making it a suitable choice for boosted Ford Raptors and Harley Davidson 6.2 equipped trucks. Construction highlights include 100 square inches of clutch lining for robust Wide Open Throttle (WOT) lock-up. The unit is furnace brazed and hand TIG welded for maximum durability. It incorporates Torrington-style bearings, a billet front cover, and a billet lock-up apply piston. The flanged impeller hub design enhances anti-flex durability, and the entire converter is hand-assembled to precise specifications. With a 265mm diameter, this converter is recommended for really big power setups or large, heavy trucks. It is available in various stall speeds, typically ranging from 2500-3200 RPM, with options for a 3-disk lock-up configuration to further enhance performance and drivability.
