The Circle D Specialties Ford 265mm Pro Series torque converter is engineered for demanding, high-power applications, particularly those with twin-screw superchargers, such as the Ford Lightning. This converter is suitable for both street and strip use, representing Circle D's top-tier performance option for supercharged trucks. Constructed with a billet front cover and billet lockup apply piston, this converter boasts a 265mm diameter (approximately 10.5 inches). Key internal features include 100 square inches of clutch lining for robust WOT lock-up, furnace brazing, hand TIG welding, and Torrington style bearings. The impeller hub is flanged for anti-flex durability, and the entire unit is hand-assembled to precise tolerances. Available options include various stall speeds (2500-3500 RPM), multiple lock-up disc configurations (3 or 5), and sprag choices (Stock, Mechanical Diode, or Spragless). This torque converter is compatible with Ford 4R100 and E4OD transmissions, with specific bolt pattern options available for each (4R100: 6x11.375"; E4OD: 4x11.375"). It is a custom-manufactured product with an estimated production time of 5-6 weeks.
