Description

Each valve features a 27.9mm head diameter and a 5.97mm stem diameter, with a +1mm oversize designed to maximize airflow into the combustion chamber. Constructed from special aerospace quality alloys, including EV8-Z18 for high tensile strength, these valves utilize an exclusive two-step slow forging process. This method ensures optimal grain flow and minimizes structural damage to the material. The manufacturing process is completed with a meticulous 48-hour heat treatment and stress-relieving cycle, forming the molecular integrity of the valve. These intake valves are finished with avionics-quality hard chrome and a specially applied hard tip for enhanced durability and wear resistance. Ferrea's engineering team has spent countless hours on flow bench tests to achieve an optimum balance of flow, velocity, and efficiency.
