Overview

The Motobilt Wheelbase Stretch Kit shifts the rear axle of 1976-1986 Jeep CJ7 models approximately six inches rearward, enabling the use of Jeep XJ rear leaf springs for improved off-road stability and optimized ride height. It features a 3/16 inch laser-cut steel bumper with integrated shackle hangers and 3/4 inch thick D-ring recovery mounts. The bare steel finish is ready for custom treatment. Installation requires the removal of the factory gas tank and may involve structural modifications; hardware and poly bushings are not included.
